Review by hotel critic
Nestled away in a serene corner, Mercure offered a peaceful escape. My days found solace in the tranquility of the onsite spa. Immersing myself in a rejuvenating massage amidst the sauna's warmth and the soothing steam room was the ultimate relaxation. As an adventure travel blogger from Melbourne, I live for thrilling escapades, but Mercure's spa unveiled a different kind of adventure-a journey within. The gentle rustle of the leaves on the summer terrace was a symphony to my tired soul. I relished the solace of the sun loungers and beach umbrellas, embracing the stillness. Surrounded by the Alps, the spa's Turkish bath and indoor pool became my sanctuary. In a state of blissful repose, the cares of the world faded away. The staff, though scarce during my visit, exuded a subtle helpfulness that amplified the serenity. The spa's holistic offerings provided a much-needed respite, complementing the basic comforts of the room. If you seek a tranquil retreat in the French Alps, Mercure beckons with its understated charm and rejuvenating spa experiences.
